“Deep Tracks” | 12.27.10

Today was a very interesting day. We were greeted by deep, drifted snow from the blizzard this morning. The office shut down for the day. I saw more vehicles stuck in snow than I’ve ever seen before. I decided to take a walk early in the afternoon to see how the snow removal was going. I wasn’t too impressed with the towns inability to clear roadways in a timely manner.

  1. It’s horrible how long it takes for Suffolk County to get the snow plows going. They really should have been going last night, but of course they don’t want to pay overtime.
