Though my 365 Project has come to an end, I will be posting at least once a week with polished photos on my new Photojournal Blog. Subscribe to it, tweet it, post it on Facebook. Thanks again for following along throughout 2010! Here’s to another year of great photos.

“365″ | 12.31.10

Today is the final day of the year and, sadly, the end of my 365 project. I would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone who has followed along with my project over the course of the year. The support and interest that you have shown has inspired me to stick with it and follow through on my goal. I truly believe that my photography and my skills for observing the world around me have improved because of this challenge.

As for 2011, I am starting a new blog reviewing music, music technology and music philosophy. I’ll certainly be posting some live photos from any performances I attend (the first being the Winter NYC Jazz Fest next Friday/Saturday!) and possibly some videos as well. Some content will be things I’ve come across online and felt the need to share. Though I won’t be posting everyday, I will try to get in a couple of posts per week at minimum. I hope you’ll join me in my exploration of music beyond the mainstream at my new blog, “Binaural Banter.” The first post goes live at 12:01am tomorrow morning!

Alice is finally here! She brought her gorgeous Martin acoustic/electric guitar with her (for which I gave her an acoustic guitar amp for Christmas). Our guitars sit in the corner of my living room now, when they aren’t being played.

Alice is coming down tomorrow to spend the weekend here and celebrate New Years. What does this mean? The apartment is SUPER clean right now. Behold, my partners in grime…killing.

I got this book for Christmas and it’s definitely the latest addition to my favorites. The first Mixerman book was hilarious. This one mixes humor with great education. I recommend it to anyone interested in audio recording.

“Deep Tracks” | 12.27.10

Today was a very interesting day. We were greeted by deep, drifted snow from the blizzard this morning. The office shut down for the day. I saw more vehicles stuck in snow than I’ve ever seen before. I decided to take a walk early in the afternoon to see how the snow removal was going. I wasn’t too impressed with the towns inability to clear roadways in a timely manner.

Very heavy winds and snow made it and interesting challenge to take this photo. The drifting outside is incredible. In some places, it looks as if we barely got any snow. In others, it’s piled up knee deep. Should be an interesting Monday morning…

“Merry Christmas!” | 12.25.10

Nothing beats Christmas with the family. I had just enough time to take this quick photo of us before we dug into all of the gifts under that tree. I’ve got lots of CDs to listen to on the long ride home tomorrow. There’s a blizzard warning in effect for NYC/Long Island- should be an exciting drive…

Ah, the night before Christmas! I spent the evening wrapping gifts and watching “A Charlie Brown Christmas” – Classic! Looking forward to celebrating in the morning.

Went out to the Scuffer Steakhouse in Burlington this evening. Had some very tasty food with some good friends. Couldn’t resist a photo involving numerous one dollar bills. It’s a long story.
